Need help on changing front door speakers please help!!

My front speakers in the doors are blown. How do I get to the speakers to replace them, on the grill in front of the speakers I can only get the clips on the sides of it off it seems like the top and bottom dont come off and I dont want to break it. Does the whole door panel have to come off. Also what size speakers do I need to get to replace them, and what would you reccomend as a good replacement. Thanks in advance.

Yep, the door panel's gotta come off, or you'll get nowhere...its pretty simple, a few screws around the armrest and a couple more around the door handle, lift and pull it off. Also, you can go with either 6.5 or 6.75" sizes, they'll both work. I have Pioneer hooked up to an Alpine and have never had a problem. Good luck, let me know how it turned out.

Once you get the door panel off, trim up the grill piece so that you can take the grill off the door panel in the future, its alot easier than having to take off the whole panel.
