Need help

Hopefully this is the right section for electrical questions. I just bought a 1995Trans Am convertible for my wife and we are trying to get it back to mostly stock. The guages the previous owner had in the car were the indiglo setup and I pulled those out. However, when I did, I discovered this mess underneath the steering column

Now, I THINK it is a viper alarm system but we have no remote for it. Can anyone point me to a wiring diagram that an electrical idiot (me) can understand? I want to rip all this out, but I still want the car to run. Thanks for any help!

You'll have better luck on the Audio and Electronics forum than you will on "Computer...."

I'll move the post there for you.....

I think the 790 was the first two way alarm remote start viper had. It is alot of wires with the original relay pack that is there, but far from the worst Ive seen. I would try to get a remote and program it for it. It probly works. If you are determined to pull it, the only thing that needs to be patched back together is the starter wire. It will be one of the heavier gauge wires probly purple and green. You should see where the factory wire is cut and one end goes to green and the other to purple. everything else just trace back to where its tapped into the car and cut it out. There is gonna be a VATS bypass or interface also.
