Is it my amp or is it my woofer?

Ok....well I got a Kenwood 800 watt amp and a JL audio 10W3 dual voice coil sub.

It's been working great since I put it in in December but all of a sudden the sub has been cutting in and out randomly...it does it when I hit bumps and it sometimes does it when I'm just sitting there...I don't know what to do...I ran new speaker wire and checked all my connections to no avail...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Today I took the sub out of the box and hook it up to the amp and worked fine then when I put it back in the box and hooked it up it worked fine...as I put it box back in place and cranked up my car the sub quit playing! The power light on my amp stays on when the sub quit playing...so I don't think it's the amp...could the speaker terminals go bad? I'm so sick and tire of messin with it I can't stand it anymore! The only thing I can think of is maybe the plug in the back of the speaker box is messed up....but I dunno....anyone else experienced anything like this before!?!

Try jiggling the RCA connections on the amp to see if you can make it cut in and out.

I tried...didn't do anything....could it be something behind the CD player causing it?

probably a ground problem. Check your grounds.make sure there is no paint under the terminal on the body and make sure you used a big enough ground wire....at least 10 ga. no less.

It's not a ground problem....the power to amp is staying on so I know it's not my power or ground wires.......plus I have 4 gauge
