Mounting ?'s :Alpine 177A --- Help...

1. Will I have any trouble installing an Alpine 177A Component set? I am worried about the mounting depth for the Woofers....

2. Will I need to invest in a set of kick pods?

3. When installing the component set, is it common practice to install the x-overs in the amp rack and run the cables to the speakers?

4. Any other recommendations to get the best sound out of my speaker setup?

5. Any recommendations as to where I can get a good deal on power/sound cable?

I currently have:
Alpine MRV-540
Alpine 177A component sets...
The HU is special..... Noone can know! :-)

It is all going into the 99 Z.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about your car, but. but im planning on building custom speaker pods as soon as I get power windows, since the crank gets in the way. theres an article about where and how place the speakers in the car. and I think the x-over (coil and/or caps) need to be as close to the speakers as posible.
