mounting bracket

i am not new to car audio, but i have never done anything on a 4th gen car. i am in need of a mounting kit for my cd player. i want to flush mount the head unit and all the kits i can find make the headunit stick out of the opening. i have seen flush mounted units out there. where can i get one?

I believe Metra (search on google for where to get them) makes a flush mount piece.

Or, if you're handy you can fab your own like I did, out of a piece of 1/8" thick Aluminum, it can be done out of plastic as well.

With the fluch-mount kits, you will have to remove the tab in the back of the radio pocket, 99% of aftermarkets HU's are too deep to flush mount without removing that bracket. If you don't know what I'm talking about, when you remove your stocker you'll see the tab back there.
