This may be a stupid question, but I've heard that when you have the monsoon system in your car you can't just change the speakers. You have to change the speakers and the head unit at the same time, is this true?

You can change your head unit no problem. The front and sail panel speakers are a different story. They run at 2 ohms and most aftermarket are 4 ohms. Just put Monsoon in the search bar and behold the plethora of anwers lol.
