At your nearest Pontiac dealer or GM Parts Direct perhaps? Possibly Radios & More.

Re: Monsoon stereo 98 TA

I've got apair of these that were(and still are poss., haven't herd anything in awhile on the sell) the f/s block. (Also, have the rear hatch 4in and one 'good' 6.5in front door spk. avail.)That, I just took out of my '02 Camaro and swapped over to a 4 ohm JBL speaker sys. After I blew the driver's side door speaker.

Not sure if, the TransAm version is different. But, these are the 6.5in midbass speakers.

Later,
Don

Re: Monsoon stereo 98 TA

I just got a new one from the dealer... it runs like $80... amazing...

get it off ebay for $45 if you want a new one...

I'm about to rip out my entire, perfect-condition system to put in all-aftermarket stuff...

the only thing that bothers me, is I think the 12 disc changer needs to be cleaned... once you get to like 3/4 of each disc, it starts sounding 'scratchy'...

either it needs cleaning, or it's damaged... which pisses me off, because when I bought the car, the changer cartridge was missing... and I had to pay $80 to get that damn thing replaced too!! these things are so freakin' expensive...

I wonder how much an entire 10-speaker monsoon system could sell for?
