i plan on putting my alpine headunit into my new 00 ss, it has a monsoon system in it. after searching on this site i found out that i won't have to have anything other than the usual wiring harness and antenna adapter. i have the old harness (metra smartcables) from circuit city from my old 96z, is it the same one? or do i need a different one. I tried to ask the circuit city guy, but he told me i would have to rewire my whole car to put in an aftermarket hu. I think he just wanted to make some $$. If it isn't the same as the connector from my 96z, is it the same as a 2000 camaro without the monsoon system....thanks for all your help in advance.
