he wants 0ver 500 bucks for this box, and has buy it now set at over 1grand

says he bought it for $1800
cant you get the same box he describes at subthemub for like 150 bucks?

 

He's out of his mind if he thinks he'll get anywhere close to that amount for it. It must look like total crap since he didn't even post a photo.

 

Well.. boxes can and easily do go for very close to that, fiberglass is alot stronger then wood, looks better, and some believe it to sound better also becase of the smoothness and how soundwaves can flow more freely, but nowhere in there does it say its fiberglass, if its painted, wetsanded, etc.. he doesnt even have any pictures of the box... so yes, he is crazy

 

the shop i used to work at built boxes outta fiberglass and wood. The fiberglass ones were upwoards of 2k. I had a firend that got a center concold built buy and audio shop that held 2 8 inch tvs for 2300

indeed.. ive had several glassed boxes built for me before i took up doing it on my own and it ranged anywhere from 1.5 to $3,900 at one time
