Making steering wheel bottons work?

Well im changing my bottoned 94 firebird wheel to a bottoned 96 one in a few days here (niether work with my headunit) a Kenwood KDC-MP828 (05 model) I was wondering how I would go about getting it to work its a nice feature id love to have working

there is a button the the top of the screen that says "Search".
Click on it, now click advanced, and search this forum for "Steering wheel" that should give you plenty of info.

There is an item on ebay specially made for this. You can make the steering wheel buttons work with any aftermarket radio. It is around 45 dollars. If you are interested, I can tell you what item it exactly is.
