MA10SY and a BOSS 3000D - Wiring Q's.
The sub can be found here
http://www.maaudio.com/productcatalog.cfm?class=264
The amp can be found here
http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/BOSREV3000D
The sub has Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coils. The amp can do
1200W x 1 @ 4 Ohms
or
2200W x 1 @ 2 Ohms
Ideally I would like to wire this at 2 Ohms then, because it would maximise the power the sub is getting, the difference in 1000 watts.
Is this possible?
If I wire the (+) of the amp to both (+) on the sub, and the (-) of the amp to both (-) of the sub, that will produce a 4 ohm load, right?
And if I wire two of the subs terminals together, one of the coils (+) with one of the coils (-), and then the (+) and (-) of the amp to the remaining terminals, that will make a 1 ohm load, right?
How can I ideally wire this up? Will that 1 ohm load make my amp blow up? Will the 2 ohm load make it sound weak?

You have those two backwards. They make the opposite ohm loads. Series drops the ohms and parrallel increases them.
The only way to get a 2 ohm load is to get another sub like yours or get a 4 ohm sub and parrallel it. I would not wire the sub up at 1 ohm. Would probably kill the amp.
