i like the way the bose factory system SOUNDS in my car... but it would be nice if it was a little bit louder (with clarity)... what can i do for that?

 

Your only option, other than going with after-market components, is to write to Amar Bose himself and ask him to re-do your stereo. There aren't any drop in replacement amps or anything like that for the Bose system. Mr. Bose doesn't like people messing with his designs.

Bose used to have an after-market speaker system back in the early 80's. It had four 4" full range speakers and a 4-channel amp. A buddy of mine had this setup in his CRX way back when. It was pretty impressive for such a small package. Neal Peart's drum solo on RUSH's first LIVE album "All the World's a Stage" was amazing with those speakers and a JVC AM/FM/Cassette deck!
