location of factory amp

i have a 95 trans am. first off how do i know if it came with the monsoon or bose system? it has tweeters and 6.5's in the front 6.5's in the passenger mounts and 3.5 or 4 inch in the back with tweeters. the factory stereo also had the equalizer with it. would this set up come with a factory amp and if so where? any input is much appreciated.

If its premium sound in a 95, you're looking at Bose. I have a factory sub on the driver's side in the trunk which was a dead giveaway. Each of my speakers has its own amp and then an amp for the sub too. Either way theres nothing that needs to be done with the amps anyway unless you're replacing equipment.

The pontiacs did not come with the bose system. If it is a monsoon system it will say monsoon on the head unit. Either way there should still be an amp behind the spare tire.

you have the premium 10 speaker sound system for 1995. there was no monsoon option i believe. the amp is under the plastic by the back passenger seat, not the spare tire well

Monsoon was an option starting in 95.
