I spotted someone selling a BCM and key fob for a 93-02 Camaro for keyless entry. the BCM is like this pic. (pic from Brents alarm install page)

My question will this give me keyless entry or does the 99 Z28 have a keyless entry reciever like I had on my 95 Z28 like this picture from Shoebox's site

My 99 Z28 doesn't have have factory keyless entry and behind the kick panel I have the plastic holder but it's empty. Does your 99 Z28 have a reciever in the holder or is it all built into the BCM?

 

I found the answer to my question after a search revealed that on 96 and later cars the keyless enrty is incorperated into the BCM
