Just Put My Car On The Meter Yesterday...
I've got two Rockford Fosgate(sp) RFZ 12s with a RF 600W amp in the Alty. The subs are entry level and right now I've got more amp than my subs can handle. The gain on my amp is ALL the way down.
Anywoo, I took the car to a local stereo shop yesterday on put the old girl on the meter. I wanted to see what the current set-up did before I upgrade my speakers. NOTE: This was done on the new metering scale they have to use for '04 competitions. The new meter is alot less sensitive than the old ones. Owner said that if I had done this on the old meter I prolly could have done upper 130s.
Also, my amp was pretty hot on this run, so I prolly could squeeze a 130 or so when cold.

I don't think I did too bad considering 1. I've got ENTRY level subs rated a whopping 125W RMS. 2. Their competition van with 8 15s does only 167. I don't think 130 is that bad taking in the above...
JFYI, I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. With new subs and tuning with the amp, I'd like to see mid 140s. i'd happy with that...

Sorry I didnt' mean to sound like a d**k, I was just joking around. Anyway, if you really wanna be able to reach 145db I'd recommend a LARGE ported box with 2 12" subs with 13mm xmax or more. I've heard A LOT of good things about Digital Designs 3500 series subs lately, including a guy here in Hawaii that hit 152db with only two of the 12" version. I think they'd pair up awesome with your amp since it doesn't put out many watts, compared to most people that hit 145db.
