Best Sounding 10" Sub?

I've got 2 old JL 10w3 subs in a box sitting in the t-top storage of my car powered by a Rockford Fosgate 500a2 amp. Since summer is coming up and I want to use the t-top storage, I'm thinking about ditching the two JL 10s in favor of one awesome sounding 10" sub mounted in a drivers side stealth box from subthump. I'd keep the 2 10s and use a millhouse box, but I don't wanna mess with turning the box around everytime I take the T's off.

So whats the best sounding 10" sub I can buy? I was thinking about one of the A series 10s from Elemental Designs. I don't wanna spend more than about 300 bucks on the sub. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

I was looking at that sub as well... I don't think any of those super-subs such as the eD A-series, Brahma, and XXX will fit into a DS Stealth, or such I was told by people here, and Megabass... The Motor of the driver is too large.

I'm custom making both DS and PS Stealths for 10" Brahma's.

It seems to me that the ED A-series subs should fit fine in the drivers side subthump stealth...the air space is .5 cu. ft., same requirement as the sub, and the mounting depth available in that DS enclosure is 10"...the mounting depth of the 10" A-series sub is 6.1" (or so it says on the website). Why wouldn't this work? Something I don't know here about the subthump enclosure?

If this sub I had in mind is no good, what's the best I can get to fit in that DS stealth?

As stated above there may be enough mounting depth but the magnet itself is probably too large. The edges of it probably hit the walls of the enclosure.

You could look into a 10W6v2... Heard one in a JL Vantage Stealth and it sounded great on 500watts....

Alpine Type-Rs sound good in a stealth box.
