I have 2 jl10w3's in a sealed box in my car now, and i have to keep moving it up near the window when i want to take my t-tops off. I got a phoenix gold xs2500 500w amp powering it and it sounds good. Im thinking of getting the jl stealth box to put in the corner so i wont have any problems with the t-tops. my question is, how much difference in sound will i notice with the stealthbox which has the jl10w3v2 in it. Does anyone think i'll be unhappy with the results? Thanks for the help

 

If you like SPL you probably won't be happy. Going from a pair of 10's to just one will be a big step down in loudness. You might want to consider a pair of Stealthbox type enclosures. You'll have to lose your spare though if you go this route.

 

LS1 Rulz is right. Going from 2 10s to a single 10 is not going to please you at all. If you think you want to keep both 10s, you can find the passenger box on my site. Link's in sig. I also noticed a JL stealthbox for sale on ebay this morning. I think it's the fiberglass version and the bid was up to around 65 bux which would be a steal IMO. You'd have to check to make sure.

The only way going to one 10 will make you happy is to ditch the w0 and get a 10 that will handle quite a bit more power. Something like a W3 or Alpine or e design.
