Installing stock 95 Z28 CD H/U in 95 Beretta

I have removed the stock H/U from my Z28 to make room for gauges and I want to put it in my Beretta since it does not have a CD H/U. I do not want to cut the harness in the Z incase I want to put it back later. The harness in the Beretta is very similar exept for one block. Does anyone know a way to get this wired up correctly. Thanks for any suggestions.

Assuming you can fit the thing in there, the harness in the beretta will work fine.

I thought Beretta's came out in '87 or '88. I had an 88. Anyhow, I have the aftermarket trim piece for that car. Came from crutchfield and extends down and includes the A/C control trim.

I can get it to fit with no problem. I had tried hooking it up before, but one of the blocks of the Beretta harness is different. It has slots for 7 pins (this block on the Camaro H/U has 6 pins) Any ideas?

it is the same harness (aside from the other block, but it shouldnt matter), it should plug right in....

Nope! That block on the Z H/U is only 6 pins wide. That block on the Betetta harness is 7 pins wide so it will not go in. (Too wide) There is another seperate block on the lower half of the Z H/U that is a 7 pin connector but has 6 pins (One pin slot is empty) I tried plugging in there but it didn't work. I can get sound but it is about half the volume it should be. Maybe I should just try to find a Camaro harness seperatly and run the wire.

Yes, Bose CD.

The plug does not fit for the upper right block.
