Just attempted to install a sony CDX m8800. I have a 99 camaro z28 and the stock radio has two wire harnesses one for power and speakers and i dont know what the other one is. Amp ? Is there an adaptor? Any help please.

 

Its for the factory cd changer i believe. Just disregaurd it.

 

It powers the monsoon system. I just put a new headunit in my 02 and couldnt find a harness for it. you'll have to just bypass the system. you will still have your front and far rear speakers working but the little 6.5" factory subs by the back seat wont work because they run on the amp. you can shoot some wires to them to make them work or you can just pull them out and put some better subs in the back which is what im going to do.
