My gas gauge has been off since i've bought my camaro...

whenever I fill the tank up the needle goes about an inch pass the full mark. It take about 60 miles to get it down to the full marking. my brother has the same issue with his 95 camaro. Just wondering if thats normal or if theres a way to fix the gauge and make it more accurate.

 

its normal. its the shape of the tank. mine goes past full, and takes a while to get to the F. then drops slowly to 1/2, but drops quicker after 1/2 on its way to E.
