Hello,


I just finished putting a monsoon system out of a 00 LS1 into my 93 Formula. The formula had bose from the factory and steering wheel controls.

First off.. This thing ROCKS!!! It has tremdous power, extreme clarity, and actually its almost hard to get the bass tamed.

This thing sounds AWESOME


But I have 2 problems.

1. The buttons are not lighting up, I've got one spare electrical connector left.. but it only has 1 wire and it will not plug right into the back of the monsoon.. its dummy proof not to.. The car that the stereo came out of has 2 wires in that connector I would guess this controls the numberpad lights... Does anyone know for sure and what should I do about my car only having 1 wire and the orginal car has 2 wires.


2. This car was equipped with steering wheel controls but I'll be damned if I can find the connector in the dash that should plug up into the back of the head unit. Does anyone know where that harness comes from? Where to find it? Its on a 93 but I assume it to be the same for most LT1's.
