Here is going to be my setup:
Alpine HU (not sure exactly which model yet)
Focal 165V components up front
JL Audio 10w6v2 sub
Subthump stealthbox

Not that is what I am pretty sure is going to be the final setup. what style, brand, wattage am I needing to go with.

Same as above but with a JL Audio 10w7 as the sub. What amp for this setup?

 

If I know what's what (don't count on it though), http://www.crutchfield.com/S-8EuL8A6...&avf=N&search= Should work pretty well. It's a 4 channel amp that can power your two components up front with 70 watts each, and the remaining two channels can be bridged to give 280 watts to your sub.

There's undoubtedly a better way to do this, but I couldn't help you there.
