Post HU recommendations

I am getting my dad a head unit for christmas and I need help finding one. I want to get him one with MP3 playback capabilities and something around $200. I was thinking of the KENWOOD KDC-MPV619. Does anyone have any recommendations for a quality lower priced MP3 head unit? Thanks for your your help.

You can learn a lot about MP3 radios here: www.highwaymp3.com They seem to be up to date on MP3 units.

I am getting the KCD-MPV7019. It is the same as the one you are looking at, except it has 3 outputs (sub) instead of 2. Besides that, I think they are identical. I am getting it for xmas too. I am going to try to install it myself (should be exciting). I just hope my bose sub (94) works w/ the pre-amp output for it.
