How much could I get for my stereo?

I have the stock Bose 6 speaker setup in my car. How much do you guys think I could get for the whole thing? Headunit, wires, speakers, EVERYTHING? Thanks!

Re: How much could I get for my stereo?

you probably wont want to sell the wiring as it is part of the main harness i believe. you would have to take all the wiring out and take the stereo wire out of the harness, then put everything back in.

your best bet for selling it is ebay. i sold my entire monsoon system on the and got nearly $300! one word of advice: sell one speaker per auction, and dont sell the same speaker until the other one has ended. (meaning dont sell both left and right front speakers at the same time. most people only want one since one of theirs is probably blown. and if you have 2 auctions for the same thing, only 1 speaker will get bid on. i sold one door speaker for 45 and the other one for 20 since i put them on the same time. i bet i could have got 45 for both of them if i would have sold them at different times.

Re: How much could I get for my stereo?

I sold nearly all of the oem parts online. As I recall, the break down was something like this. All from a 1997 Z28 with 8 speaker, 200 watt monsoon setup.

cd player HU $115
front door speakers $140
sail panel speakers $60
rear speakers $15
-----------------------
$335

This is the net amount, after fees, shipping, etc...

I sold all speakers in pairs. I might of been able to get more if sold individually, but I just wanted to get rid of this stuff.

Still got the monsoon amp left. Listed once, didn't sell, not sure if it's worth it to list it again.
