Re: how many watts rms/peak is this amp
At what Ohm load? That determines power.
125x4 @ 4ohm Stereo
250x4 @ 2ohm Stereo
375x4 @ 1ohm Stereo
250x2 @ 4ohm Mono
500x2 @ 2ohm Mono
1000x2 @ 1ohm Mono
These are RMS rating, I've owned a few Audiobahn Amps, and they rate everything in RMS.

Re: how many watts rms/peak is this amp
ok so if i have 3 subs, each 600 rms, this would work right? do you think audiobahn is a good company or decent?
p.s. these subs are the ones, sorry i have no clue about this stuff lol
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW
or would this be a better amp?

help me out please lol, i dont know what i have to do to make this all work out and sound good lol, or should i go with 2 12" ones like these

with which one of those amps or one that you can find with better power/similar price?
thanks

Re: how many watts rms/peak is this amp
I've seen pics of Audiobahn amps, and the soldering is terrible. I would stay away from them.
Soundstream Van Gogh series amps are really really well put together and they are rediculously cheap right now on eBay.

You are not going to need to feed those subs anywhere's near that power, yet alone if you did, you would fry them very fast. Hell, I'm not even running that to some of the best subs ever made which are a LOT higher quality and better product than those Audiobahns. And I would run a pair of those, not 3; if you want to run 3, then I would just buy a seperate amp for each speaker.
I'd say look for something like an Hifonics Brutus BX500D, BX1000D or BX1500D, either would power those subs just fine, if not destroy them from over-powering depending on "other" variables.
I will tell you that running multiple amps, or even one of the BX1000/1500 amps will most likely require an upgrade to your charging system; aka more power full alternator, and possibly a 1 or 2 Farad Cap.

Re: how many watts rms/peak is this amp
3600 watts peak, and under 500$?
Let me tell you something. That's like asking for 1000 hp at the wheels with a budget of 1500$. It's not a realistic combination.
Now, let me ask you, do you really think you'll ever use 3600 watts? I seriously doubt you would be able to withstand sitting in a car for more than a few seconds while actually using a full 3600 watts. If you did, you'd be deaf in a matter of seconds.
For good, solid, reliable power for not too expensive, I would stick with the likes of MTX. Super reliable, put out rated power and last. I would look for a Thunder 1501D which provides a real ~1000 watts RMS at 2 ohms, and I've heard of them being modded to put out over 2kw RMS.
