How does everyone fish the wires through to the door speakers?
Is there any easy way to get new speaker wire through the rubber tube to the door speakers? I will be installing a new system soon, and want to avoid as much frustration as possible.
Re: How does everyone fish the wires through to the door speakers?
I used a metal piece of rod that i shoved through the the boot from the door into the cabin, then electrical taped the end of the new wire to the rod, and pulled it back through. Same thing with the coatanger, quite simple really.

I fed the clothes hanger and wires thru the door into the rubber boot with one hand and used my other hand to help guide it thru the boot. Once you're thru the boot the rest is easy.

There is another way to fish wires in awkward places, which works if you already have at least one wire running through that tight spot.
You disconnect one end of the wire and put a strong line on it, such as thin nylon cord or fishing line.
You then pull the wire you disconnected back through the tight spot, dragging the "fish line" with it. Once you have it on the other side, you attach the new wire and use the "fish line" to pull both back through.
This method is especially effective if the "tunnel" you are trying to fish through is far from straight.
