How do I tell If I have a Monsoon?

Sorry if this is an idiotic question, but after just buying a 99, I noticed my car has 6 speakers instead of the standard 4. The last 2 are in the rear wheel-well covers.

Now, the radio doesnt look special, plays CD's and etc. But it doesnt have any steering wheel controls, which I was under the impression a monsoon system would have.

Steering wheel controls didn't become available in Camaro's until 2000 model year.

I guess the best way to tell whether you have a Monsoon system or not is to look at the display of the head unit. On the bottom left corner of the display it will say either "Monsoon" or "Delco Electronics".

Yep, it says Monsoon on the lower right corner. I don't know how I missed that, well I want a new deck, so it will most likely be removed, and sold in the parts section.

Well I'm not selling the deck, (yet) I considered it as I thought only one speaker was working, but today I got the manual out and got it sounding great. With only 35k on a 99 I figured all the speakers being blown was odd, turns out I was correct.
