how do i replace factory speakers?
how do i replace factory speakers?
yah im lookin to get new door and pillar speakers, i was wonderin what brand i should go with, and how i would go about it b/c the aftermarket speakers have inputs for pos., and neg. but the old speakers just have like a plug? im not to great with speaker stuff but i got my own thump, and i have to 6x9 kenwoods should i adapt them into the 6.5 speaker hole or where could i put them???thanx for ur help in advance
I don't know what kind of sound you want but I have Polk in the doors and I am replacing what they called the stock subs with tweeter, probably from Directed or polk and some mid range in the rear near my subs. I have 4 amps in the car running 1 amp to each set of speakers. Pretty loud and pretty fun.
don't worry about the 6 x 9. The speaker brand will depend on what sounds good to you and how much you want to spend. Though I do suggest going with components upfront only. Save your money and not to worry about the rear speakers.
