help with rear tailight sockets

i posted something awhile back about needing a wiring harness for the rear tailights. but currently i am just having trouble figuring out why my lights wont work. I purchased brand new LED tailights off ebay and they seem to be great quality and what not. but the connections are giving me trouble. I have got the parking lights to work but sometimes seems like the parking light comes on when i have what i thought was the turn signal light plugged in. what im asking is would i want to put all new sockets in or is there another way i could hook these up? the sockets work when the light bulbs are in. but these tailiights have pre-wired ends that are designed to fit in the small flat groove across the round bulb part of the socket. i noticed when the bulbs where in that they were real sensitive and would go out with small movement. I also wanted to know if i would be able to just hot wire the wires by cutting the ends from the lights and splice them with the factory wires instead of using the sockets? if that could be possible i would do that. any help would be much appreciated .. thanks
