Help! Rear speakers for convert. 98
Help! Rear speakers for convert. 98
I have a 98 Convertible, and found out as others have how small the clearance is when mounting aftermarket speakers in the rear side panels.
When I folded the top I crunched mine. I talked to Crutchfield and they gave me a few suggestions. I need some bass and it is hard to get enclosure in the open sides where the top folds. They also recommended some shallow
foam speaker baffles to help out. Any suggestions for a pair of speakers in the $100 range. I don't have room for subs, so what do you think? This is not a Monsoon. Kenwood receiver.

Take a look at the rag top enclosures at SubThump. They're at the bottom of the page. This would be a MUCH better option than what you have in mind now. It'll sound one helluva lot better too.
