HELP me out please

OK i already posted this in the general section but didn't get any replies. I bought a cell phone charger for my car and when i plugged it in my radio turned off, and now doesn't come on. later i find that i have no hatch switch, no horn, no door locks, and no interior lights. i checked the fuses and thats not it ... what else could it be?? any help at all would be great thanks

Did you test the fuse or just look at it to see if it was blown? I've had fuses that looked good but when I tested them with a meter there was no continuity.

Does your car still start/run? Dash lights? Anything?

Re: HELP me out please

Where did this charger get plugged in at? I'm guessing the cig lighter or extra power port that looks like an extra cig lighter. Other than a blown fuse I don't see how just plugging in an accessory like that could possibly do what you have described.

Yeah man I'm at a loss as to what could be going on here. My advice: time to get out the test light and see where you're losing power. Almost sounds like you've got a harness unplugged somewhere.

Actually use a digital multimeter, much more effective and wont potentially fry your PCM. Doubt it would happen but in general, test light is a no-no. Check for constant and accessory on the radio. If its accessory, theres a blown fuse somewhere, if its the constant wire then just run a new one and fuse it.
