Help Installing Pioneer HU

In the opening where the HU goes, in the back, to the right, there is a small box that stick out. The problem I'm having is the rca cords are on the right side of the deck which is preventing me from mounting the HU. Is there any possible solution besides purchasing a new HU with all inputs on the left side

Re: Help Installing Pioneer HU

not ure how much space is in a 4th gen compared to a thirdgen, but i know in my 83 I had to pull the wires down into the center console underneath the radio in order to get the 7600 to fit in there with all the RCA's and such hooked up (2 amps and a pair of subs. one amp for the 2 subs, the other amp for the 4 speakers) took a good 30 minutes to get it back in there. What unit you have?

Its the Pioneer DEH-P7700MP. Problem is solved now. The piece that was in the way, I was able to pop it out of its location and move it over.

I got that one too, and you'll love it, great sound for the extra wattage.

Just make sure you set that before you install it.

Being a Pioneer Distributer, i can highly say thats the best one for the money.
