help with cd player

hey i dont know much at all about car audio so im sure this will sound quite simple to everyone else. i had a 1996 mustang that i put an alpine cd player in. i recently traded my mustang for a 1994 camaro z28...the camaro radio seems much much bigger. how can i make this fit? and also do i just go back to circut city and buy some sort of adapter for the wiring or should it all fit? ive never taken apart anything in the camaro so any pointers would be great.

thanks a lot,
adam

circuit city has everything you need...just tell them the make & model of the car...they'll have the wiring adapters and the dash adapter...i personally think the dash adapters they have are just a bit goofy looking (they protrude out of the dash)...a little internet research will give you more aesthetically pleasing adapter options

The Metra 99-3009 and 99-3300 dash kits allow you to flush mount the HU so that it doesn't stick out. This is my Alpine HU in the 3009 dash kit...

Don't forget to get the antenna adapter too. GM uses a mini Motorola plug that needs an adapter to plug into after-market HU's.

was your old radio 1din or 1.5 din? That'll make a difference too cause I don't think your car yr would fit a 1.5din

Or if you're cheap like me, you could just tape the plug in.
