Head Unit and ACS switch not working!
I could really use some help on this one...
So I was messing around with the power mirror wiring on the driverside door, and stupid me, I forgot to disconnect the neg battery terminal. So when I was striping one of the wires (i cut the stock power mirror plug off to replace it with the one from a firebird) it touched another and i got a small spark. That was when I stopped and disconnected the battery terminal. After all the wiring was cleanned up, I proceeded to cover up the intake filter, battery, fuse box...other electrical stuff, and hosed down the engine bay with some degreaser and clean water. I just used a regular hose, no pressure washer or anything.
When I went to drive the car, after everything was dried off, the head unit doesn't power on anymore and the ACS switch under it doesn't turn on the ACS or the warning light in the dash. My door controls (windows, locks), headlights and everything else seems to be functioning. I check the fuses, they looked fine, but I replaced the radio one anyways...and still nothing. FYI it's an aftermarket unit, a pioneer..
I don't know where else to look...I'm thinking it's related to the ACS button not working too...maybe some other shared circuit that they are on shorted out?
Thanks in advance!!
