Having a problem with my cd changer
I just bought a '01 SS on friday. I'm supposed to have this looked at on Thursday, but I don't know if they're gonna charge me for it. Anyways, I try to play a CD, any music CD, burned or store bought, and it doesn't work. I'll push the CD button on the console it'll act like it's loading disc 1 and then a msg that says Err shows up. Anyone have a clue what the deal is? This is the stock pioneer CD changer. Thanks for any help on this.
You might have the magazine loaded wrong, or even the CD's .Try flipping the CD's upside down from what you have them now. If that doesn't work you're gonna have to have it looked at by a professional or someone with that level of knowledge.
i get at lesat one person a week coming in saying that the cd changer isnt working right, and sure enough the cds are backwards. or my favorite was a lady came in saying that her head unit ate like 6 of her cds so i pulled out the cd player and sure enough 6 cds fell out of her dash, she was putting them on top of the cd player.
