Good NO SUB setup?

Any suggestions for a decent setup with no sub? I was thinking about getting a set of Kicker 6.75" midbass speakers for the sail pannels. Up front I'm going to run a set of Focal 165A components. The front speakers and the midbass speakers will most likely be run by a pair of JL 300/2 amps (to get a 150x4 setup).

Any other ideas for a no sub setup? Someone suggested the Focal Utopia 5 WS for the sail pannels, but I think they need a sealed or ported encloser and that won't fit in the sail pannels will it?

All I'm going for is at least as much bass as the stock monsoon system has (I really don't need much bass...)

Thanks

JL Audio IB4 speakers.....dunno if they still make those. They are made to ONLY be run in free-air setups. They only came in 8", 10", and 12" though. But they will r0xx0r you b0xx0rs.

Re: Good NO SUB setup?

as long as you don't expect too much, that should give you pretty decent midbass. You can try to play the sail panels lower but it may sound like a$$
