GM 6 SPKR Wiring ????

Anybody real good with these? I have looked at the wiring diagram and it only shows a four speaker setup.. I hook up my OEM radio and the 3rd pair work. I hook up a connector to my aftermarket radio and the 3rd pair doesn't work.. This Radio isn't going into my Camaro but it is going into my Tahoe four door . It had a Delco Radio Sound System. Cassette and Radio Combo with a Slave CD Unit. It has tweeters and 5 1/4's in the Front doors (FL and FR Spkr's) It also has 6x8's in the Rear Just infront of the Very Back doors in the Ceiling (RR and LR Spkr's) I also have 6 1/2's in the second doors. So it might be similar to a GM Vehicle with four doors and four door spkrs and two in the rear Dash. I need to know what wires feed power to those second set of doors. I have the front doors working and the Rear Ceiling.. Anybody have a clue? I hope I have explained it pretty well.. Email or Prvt Msg me if you would like some clairifying.. But hopefully all I get is some ideas.. I have hooked up a 9Volt and went wire hunting but came up empty also.. Is there a Stock Amp? If so where? Is that where the second set of sounds is coming from?

I think the only Tahoe's that had an amp were those with the Bose/Premium systems.

What year is it?

The speakes in the roof should be linked to the rear doors. You tried popping them behind the radio and got nothing? Is that what you were getting at?

Did you hook up the power antenna behind the radio?

yes the rear spkrs are linked to the Rear doors.. There is some crossover or something under the drivers seat. Got to looking around and used the 9volt on some of those wires and found that there is RR and LR spkr wires and RRD and LRD spkr wires.. then there are three other wires.. Maybe the connector up in the dash didn't send a power signal to the crossover telling it to turn on.. Anybody ever deal with this.. Anybody know what wires in the dash would send power to the crossover?

Try hooking up the blue wires (power antenna) behind the radio...

If the car doesnt have a power antenna, it is usually used for amplifier turn on...

I doubt there would be an external amp for just those speakers, but its worth a shot.

I dont' have any blue wires, I have two green wires that appear not to go to anything behind the dash.. I have a red a black and a white or maybe tan wire connected to the croosover/amp thingy under the drivers seat.. I ran a jumper wire from RR and LR spkrs over to RRD and LRD spkrs and they work but I would rather use the cross over or the stock amp.. Anyone have ideas..

Did you use a wiring harness? Or was it cut? Look up the correct colors @ www.installdr.com . Are the greens light and dark? If so, they are one of the speakers...
