Head Unit: Alpine or Pioneer
Amps: MTX, Orion, RF, Alpine, Kicker, Memphis, JBL
Speakers: Focal
Subs: JL, Alpine

These are some of the more value priced brands I'd look into. Are you wanting to run rear speakers, I don't? Are you gonna run components up front? Are you having kick panels made? What kinda budget are you looking at? Oh and try to find someone local from the board with a nice system to help you do your install. Try posting in you local forums asking for help. They'll charge WAY less than a shop and that way you can save big money by buying your gear online. Give me a budget and I'll help you pick out a killer system, I'll also give you the names of a few online places that will give you great deals(PM for those).

Money wise really doenst make a difference, i really want quality at a good deal and i know that it will cost a bit more but i want the quality. Warranty also makes a difference. Im not sure as to what im going to run, prolly component speakers but still not sure, i would really appreciate those links and thanks in advance.

Some idea of a budget would be VERY helpful in recomending gear. Would you spend $600 on components for the front? Or are you looking to spend more on the line $300? Do you want to spend $600 for a head unit or more along the line of $300? After you answer those two I'll help you pick out some gear. I am a big advocate of Focal, trust me you will LOVE them.

im spending about $900 on a head unit and speakers are going to vary up to about $1500-$2000 for the rest of the system

Hmmm... that's a nice budget. I'd look into some of the upper level Alpine or Pioneer head units. They have some very nice features and the quality and build is great.

In that price range look at the Focal Polykevlar 165K2 or 165K3 if you are gonna run kick panels. For subs look into JLAudio or Image Dynamics. I've been hearing good things about Elemental Design but haven't heard one yet, I'll probably get their 12A or 15A this summer sometime.

For Amps, I like the look of the Precision Power, JL Audio, RF, Orion and Memphis units. If you wanna go high end look into Arc Audio and Zapco.

You can really save yourself alot of money by having a private installer do the work and buying your gear online, but that's up to you really.

PM me if you need a good online place to buy from, I know a few.
