Lightbulb Finally... a good reason to go with a 1DIN HU...

Tried forever to convince myself to give up looking for th perfect 1.5 DIN and go with a 1DIN.

What woudl I do with the 1/2 DIN? Cover it up and make it a switch panel? maybe... equalizer? naw... HU should have that covered....

Here's an interesting option: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-oIjWLeQ...=DIN&i=020SRK5

A center channel speaker for 5.1.

Interesting....

Yea, but it won't sound right unless u have a true 5.1 processor for the car, and the speakers to go with it.

There are a handful of decks with true 5.1 processing.

Yes, but do you know how to wire it up to actually be working in 5.1...
