factory stereo

hey guys, i have the bose factory system in my car, i am satisfied with the sound and everything else except my factory deck, it keeps ejecting some of my cd's, i was thinking to go aftermarket, is it very hard to do the installation?, i still want my factory bose subwoofer to work, does the factory deck come with an amplifier......or should i just keep it stock?

It's not quite as simple as plug and play. The bose system is amplified at each speaker, not at the head unit. That means that the factory head unit puts out a low power signal. Therefore, you need to buy an adapter that will tone down your aftermarket head unit's signal. I paid $50 for mine though crutchfield. You will be able to keep your factory sub though.

Just pray that you won't want to repalce you factory speakers.
