Putting subs in my 1999 Z28 convertible
I own a black 1999 Camaro Z28 convertible and would really like to have some bass. I can't put anything in the trunk because when the top is down, it is completely sealed off from the cabin. I can't permanently leave my backseat down because I occasionally have to put a childseat back there. Any ideas from anyone?
Im not very familiar with converts, but I dont think being sealed off really matters...I used to have a grand am and I had a sub box in the trunk, when it was facing forwards it didn't matter if it was sealed or not, it was loud as hell. I think if you did it right, it would sound great...convertible guys correct me if Im wrong?
Hazard2k, that isn't a convertible. The top comes down partially inside those pillars so there is no comparison with the amount of room I would have to work with. I appreciate the thought though. That is exactly what I want to do but with someone who owns a convertible and knows first hand the amount of space available and what to cut!
