Exclamation expert opinion plz : cd player/changers that skip

1. do cd changers skip more or less than the stock in-dash cd player? how about vs. aftermarket in-dash headunits?

2. on a budget, what brand offers best skip protection in head units?

my stock '95 (10spkr bose) player skips like mad | thanks, Brian

I don't know about the oem units, because I've got a Pioneer hu and 12 disc changer. I have NEVER had a skip, even going over rr tracks and pot holes.

1) I only had the POS Monsoon in my car for a short time and never had a skipping problem with it. The factory HU does however tend to develop skipping problems (as well as other problems) as it gets older.

2) I've used nothing but Kenwood and Alpine in my cars and trucks have never had a skipping problem with any of them.
