is this ok to do

today i just decided to try this for no reason other than to see how it sounded and worked. i have a 2 channel amp powering my cdt components and power my pioneer rear fill speakers off of the head unit. wel its freezing here in chicago so i never had time to run my rear fill wires under the carpet so i had the running through the center of the car looking like ***. so i decided to try hooking up all the speakers to the amp and it worked and it sounds better than before. was this ok to do? can i keep running them like this?

It's OK as long as your amp is 2ohm stable. If not the amp will probably overheat and go into protection mode. Of course you'll no longer have fader control over the rear speakers.

You're probably just thinking it sounds better when in fact it just sounds louder.
