Experience with Mb Quart speakers?

I am interested in purchasing mb quart component speakers for the front and back seat speakers; both 6.5s. I was just wondering if any of you have any experience with these speakers. I am most likely interested in the "reference series"; want them to sound excellent without getting too pricey. I am also going to be going with a rockford 4 channel amp. I already have an exciplse head unti, running with a cross fire amp and an 10 eclipse sub. Any sugestions and advice would be great. Thanks

Derrick

I currently run MB Quart speakers for my front sound stage and I'm VERY happy with them.

I bought mine from www.cbrstereo.com because they were the cheapest, reliable place I could find!

If your ears are sensitive in the treble like mine are you probably won't like the Quarts. MB's tweets are very harsh sounding to my ears.

Well said they are very "accurate" and loud for tweets. I like them some may not, go to you local car audio store and listen then buy them online and save a bootload of $$.

I had MB Quart all the way around and loved them. Great speaker for the price. The hi's are strong but you can adjust that. You won't be sorry. Buy some!

I am running a set in my 01 Z at the moment. I have the premium series. They are a great sounding speaker, very true to the music. That being said they are incredibly bright, I have my tweeters set at -4.5db. I am probably going to be going with a set of Focal's pretty soon. They are much more lifelike and have a smoother tweeter. You should try and look into them also before you make your descision. The Polyglass line is very reasonable, and the PolyKevlar line is totally sweet(very lifelike vocals). I will probably be going with the PolyKev's personally. Check 'em out.

Good luck picking out some speakers.
