error codes on CD player

error codes on CD player

i have the stock monsoon cd player/radio on my 97 formula, and sometimes i get erros e23 and e20, it pisses me off, does anyone know what this could be??

k well the search wouldn't help for my next question....

by getting an aftermarket head unit, will it solve this problem, or is an electrical problem with that car?

The factory HU is garbage and has proven time and time again that it is NOT a reliable unit. Any quality after-market HU (Alpine & Kenwood for instance) would be WAY better and more reliable.
