Electrical Question, Please Help!

Ok, I have a 93 Camaro and I love the car! My first Camaro was a 97 and I fell in love with the interior layout. In the past few days I had a sort of brain fart and I was wondering if this is plausible. If I came across a 98+ Camaro body (sans motor and tranny. I like my LT1 and T56 thank ya very much ) would I be able to take the wiring harnesses and put it into my 93? I'm talking from headlight to taillight, replacing the complete wiring harness. That way I could gut the 93 down and just transfer the donor 98+'s interior into it and front lights and tail lights to give it the newer look using the correct 98+ harnesses, I could just plug everything in and all the lights, radio's, dash, etc would work properly. I'd also be converting the front end to 98+ at this time. So basically, I'd have an LS1 Body with an LT1 Motor. Can this be done? Could I use the harnesses for the body but keep my 93 ECM? I've heard of people 'frankensteining' their existing wiring harnesses to fit in the digital guages and stuff from the 97+ dash, but I don't feel like ripping into a perfectly good harness. I'll probably have to buy a few spare harnesses and make my own.... Any ideas?

P.S. Pleaaaaaaase don't tell me to just sell mine for a 98+ Camaro, or that I'd be "ruining a perfectly good car" blah blah I have a baby on the way and this would be something I could do to a car I already have paid off and work on in my own time. I really don't want a payment for another camaro..... my wife would kill me

Wouldn't it be a whole lot easier to just drop your LT1 into a '98?

I would just swap the motor, a WHOLE heck of a lot easier and less time consuming...

I was considering that, but more than likely the only 98+ one I will be able to find will probably be wrecked. I dunno, it was just a long shot, I probably won't end up doing it. It would keep me busy though.
