I have Alpine 7998 HU, Orion amp, Adire sub, MB Quart 2 way speakers on the back.
I need good set of components for my front doors. Currently I Am running MB Quart DCE216 2-way speakers, and I need to upgrade to something better...I have $150 to spend, no more!! I am not audiophile, but I like good sounding speakers. I was thinking about eDi 6000s Components but they are new and I didn’t heard any reviews about them. Or maybe CDT Audio CL-61A I need your opinion guys...
If you have other I am open to those!!

Sorry dude, I voted wrong.

The first thing that crossed my mind were the www.thezeb.com 149$ CDT's, and I thought they were HD's. But alas, they are CL's.

So yeah, the CL's. Great speakers for 150$.

If I had to still say another choice, JL VR650CSI's off eBay.

 

Between the 2 listed, take the REAL cdt's. Not the fake one's.

eDi's are CDT's rebadges for their use. They claim their 6500 is around the same level as the CDT HD's, while people have said otherwise. Not saying they are bad speakers, just personally wouldn't throw money in their direction.

If you are going to buy from them, make sure the item is in stock, because if it's not, you may not see it for months.

 

I decided I will go with other speakers: Rainbow Components

I hope that they will be as goog as the reviews about them.
Anyway if you had a vote between JL VR650CS and Rainbow SLX 265.02 witch one would you choose??

It's a tough call man. The VR's sound excellent and I have first hand experience with them.

The Rainbows get great recognition in the community, but I haven't heard them first hand.

If you wanna know what I think will sound better is tough since I haven't had a chance to listen to the Rainbows first hand. So I guess I would have to say VR's. And I'm not saying the VR's are bad. Au contraire. Quite nice speakers. I just can't say which are better obviously.
