I had my aftermarket HU installed by Circuit City. When the new HU is installed is the factory Monsoon amp bypassed all together or is it still powering the speakers?

Also I just bought a set of components because my front speakers are blown. Will the HU/monsoon amp be enough to power these things?

I tried reading about this but I get more confused.

 

I'm not sure how they installed it, but I would assume that the monsoon amp is still powering the speakers because they probably did the easiest thing to get your HU working.
