Double Din receivers

I need some ideas for my trucks stereo. Its a double din opening and I dont want a single din where a double din goes. What are some good options? Are there any good mounting kits that would make a single din look good in a double din?

Not sure about the exact kits for your truck, but most of the Single DIN Mounting Kits I've seen have a pocket to put Sunglasses, CDs, Pens, Etc. If not then they center the radio within the opening and fill the area with a solid backing.

Basic Idea

So that's usually the way I go, hard to find a good Double DIN stereo these days. Pioneer is about the only option I have seen, and well for the price the options SUCK

If you're really into audio, you could get a headunit, and then a separate crazy-band equalizer and mount it right under it. i mean it'll fill up that space nicely, and give you tons of control

Lighted mounts

Check that site out. They have some pretty sweet lighted mounts. I think I'm probably going to go that route in my car. But just another option for you.
