www.techronics.com alot cheaper than retail. and they have the American Express Fraud Protection Garentee. And I know that AE doesnt mess around with so-so companies. Thats where I am planning to buy my 400$ amp for $268.35 out the door with free shipping

 

search around on the internet as there are quite a few. however most of the items are refurbished or they don't come with serial numbers which means no warranty and/or possibly stolen.

i have yet to find a single place that didn't have a bad reputation in one way or another though which is why i got scared. i searched for over 2 months, ended up just taking the prices i found and trying to bargain with local shops. spent a little more but saved alot still and i have a warranty and satisfaction of knowing they aren't stolen.

 

that place doesn't look bad, however their prices are more then i paid just dealing with my local shops. some of their items are a little cheaper then others which are higher then they should be.

for example their kicker sl71204's are $100 more a piece then i paid retail. you just have to shop around, looks like a good site though.

 

I havent looked around it at much more than stuff I would be interested in and so far I have only found good deals. I got a 400 amp for 271 shipped. I am planning on getting an alarm system for the same price about and it retails at about 400 also. it just seems like a great place to me

i know of a place that has a limited supply left of ground zero that is being sold for about half of retail. the importer isn't importing it from germany anymore, so they are getting rid of what is left in their wharehouse. it is good equip, not crap. i've already hooked a couple people up on it. what in particular are you interested in? i can get some prices for you.

 

Ebay is an awesome place to get stuff, just make sure the person has good feedback and you won't get screwed, i bought over 50 items, mostly electronics or car stuff...and NEVER ONCE got screwed. There are companies on there now also, they sell for cheaper b.c they reach way more people on there. good luck.

 

I bought an amp off of onlinecarstereo.com last winter. Thumbs up for them, no problems.

 

Online prices are tempting. However look into what kind of warranty coverage you get, and how you get that coverage. Find out if you can take the product in to an authorized repair shop or if you have to mail it back to the place you bought it from.

If mailing is involved, shop around your local shops, make friends with a sales guy and get great deals face to face.
